Lotus Bungalows Candidasa

Lotus Bungalows Candidasa sits in tropical gardens on the seafront at Candidasa, Bali. It is part of Lotus Journey, the new name of the Lotus Hotels group. With 20 rooms it stays small and quiet, which suits honeymooners, families and divers.

There is an infinity pool over the Lombok Strait, an open-air yoga pavilion, and cooking classes, offering-making and traditional dance lessons. The resort has a PADI 5-star dive center and serves fresh seafood.

The Rooms

• Superior Rooms (14 units, 27 m²)

The Superior Rooms are bright and roomy, each with a private terrace over the garden, air conditioning, a mini fridge, tea and coffee facilities, and a private bathroom with hot and cold shower. Good for couples or solo travelers.

• Standard Rooms (6 units, 27 m²)

The Standard Rooms are simple, with a private terrace, air conditioning, a minibar and a safe, plus daily drinking water and evening turndown service.

The Dining

The restaurant offers a variety of international and Indonesian dishes, with a focus on fresh seafood prepared daily. Guests can enjoy meals in a relaxed setting with views of the ocean, or savor light bites and tropical drinks by the pool

Diving Center

Lotus Divers (formerly Gangga Divers) at Lotus Bungalows is a full-service PADI 5-star dive center, maintaining the highest safety and training standards. Certified divers are guided in small groups (max 4:1) by professional PADI instructors and divemasters. Facilities include a library, equipment rental by Aqualung, complimentary Nitrox 32%, washing/drying areas, and a meeting room.

Packages

Published rates for 1 November 2026 to 31 October 2027. Prices below are the lowest of each package, in the regular season. Christmas and New Year (20 December to 6 January) and 20 July to 30 September are high season and cost more. Packages cannot be shortened.

• Stay packages, 4, 7 or 10 nights in a Superior room: breakfast, a welcome drink, afternoon tea with Balinese cakes, and a 60-minute massage or yoga lesson. The 10-night package adds a half-day tour (Tirta Gangga and the rice fields, Goa Lawah and the salt makers, or Yeh Labuh waterfall). From IDR 3,585,000 per person sharing for 4 nights (about USD 200, EUR 175).
• Dive packages with Lotus Divers: 4 nights and 6 dives, 7 nights and 10 dives, or 10 nights and 16 dives, with tanks, weights and free nitrox for certified divers. From IDR 10,311,000 per person sharing for 4 nights and 6 dives (about USD 575, EUR 510).
• Bali and Lombok combo: 5 nights at Lotus Bungalows Candidasa and 4 nights at Lotus Almarik Gili, with breakfast, the transfer between them by speedboat from Padang Bai (or by car and boat from Lombok airport), a massage at each hotel or a yoga lesson in Candidasa. From IDR 11,091,000 per person sharing (about USD 615, EUR 550). The diver version adds 8 boat dives with Lotus Divers in Candidasa, from IDR 20,059,000 per person sharing (about USD 1,115, EUR 990).
• Honeymoon Experience, added to a stay of 3 nights or more: a private rice field walk, a spa treatment for two, a half-day trip to Tirta Gangga and Tenganan village, and a candlelit dinner with a bottle of wine. IDR 5,718,000 per couple (about USD 320, EUR 280).
• Culture and Wellness Experience: a Balinese cooking class with a market visit, a massage, morning yoga and an offering-making session. IDR 3,644,000 per person, minimum 2 (about USD 205, EUR 180).
