Lotus Almarik Gili

Lotus Almarik Gili, formerly Villa Almarik, is one of the original resorts on Gili Trawangan, right on the beachfront. It is part of Lotus Journey, the new name of the Lotus Hotels group. You can snorkel with turtles in front of the restaurant, and the town center is a few minutes’ walk away.

The resort has large rooms, a swimming pool in tropical gardens, a spa, and a restaurant looking out over the sea to Mount Rinjani. It takes couples, families and divers.

The Room

Premier Rooms (9 units, 65 m²): the former Deluxe rooms, redesigned in bungalows with a king-size bed (200 × 200 cm), a private veranda, and a bathroom with a large bathtub, a double sink and Sensatia bath products. The best choice for couples and honeymooners.

Superior Rooms (7 units, 48 m²): bright bungalow rooms with a queen-size bed, a private terrace and garden views.

Standard Rooms (8 units, 45 m²): simple rooms in a row with a queen-size bed and a shower, a few steps from the beach.

Dining

The resort serves Indonesian and Mediterranean dishes, prepared daily with fresh local ingredients. Guests can dine at the sea view restaurant overlooking Gunung Rinjani or enjoy lunch and dinner in the pool garden setting. A pizzeria adds a casual dining option for relaxed evenings.

Lotus Almarik is one of the longest-running places to stay on Gili Trawangan.

Packages

Published rates for 1 November 2026 to 31 October 2027. Prices below are the lowest of each package, in the regular season. Christmas and New Year (20 December to 6 January) and 20 July to 30 September are high season and cost more. Packages cannot be shortened.

• Stay packages, 4, 7 or 10 nights: breakfast, a welcome drink, afternoon tea, the horse-cart transfer from the harbour and back, and either a 60-minute massage or a 4-hour snorkelling trip on a shared boat. From IDR 4,504,000 per person sharing a Standard room for 4 nights (about USD 250, EUR 220).
• Bali and Lombok combo: 5 nights at Lotus Bungalows Candidasa and 4 nights at Lotus Almarik Gili, with breakfast, the transfer between them by speedboat from Padang Bai (or by car and boat from Lombok airport), a massage at each hotel or a yoga lesson in Candidasa. From IDR 11,091,000 per person sharing (about USD 615, EUR 550). The diver version adds 8 boat dives with Lotus Divers in Candidasa, from IDR 20,059,000 per person sharing (about USD 1,115, EUR 990).
• Honeymoon Experience, added to a stay of 3 nights or more: a romantic dinner, a private 4-hour snorkelling trip, a couples massage, a sunset horse ride and an hour of free-flow cocktails. IDR 5,830,000 per couple (about USD 325, EUR 290).
