About diving in Flores
Flores liveaboards mostly sail the waters east of Komodo: Maumere Bay, the islands of East Flores and on to Alor. They see far fewer divers than the national park next door. The best months run from April to November. Trips are long, usually ten or eleven nights, starting or ending in Maumere or Labuan Bajo, and a few continue to Ambon and the Banda Sea.
